Coverage is expected to be spectacular including Butte, north including Elk Park and beyond, northwest throughout the Anaconda-Deer Lodge Valley to Gold Creek, south past Dillion, and east to Bozeman. There is no coverage to the southeast due to the site's location a few hundred feet below the peak on the northwest side.
Bozeman-area hams are reachable on talk group BGV 31303.
At the same radio site is the Butte Amateur Radio Club analog FM 2 meter repeater on 146.94 MHz -offset, tone access 100.0 Hz.
Winter 2018/19 Internet access has failed so this site is stand-alone, no BrandMeister networking until repairs can be made Summer 2019.
